ICT as Medium for Advocacy
The transformation of educational methodologies when I was in grade school and now in Senior High School keep on evolving as times goes by. During grade school I haven't use sources like internet and all the assignments and activities are done with the help of textbooks. But now we can access or search information we need in the internet. The education now is much more easy because of the internet.
2. Consider the following comparison.
a. The singing of the national anthem(Form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor)
When I was in grade school our teacher always say that we need to go outside and form a straight line from smallest to the tallest. Also we didn't use any speaker or recorded music to make the song more beautiful and loud.Now, we also do that but with the use of recorded music and speakers, may be as the time goes by we are just going to sing the national anthem with the use of virtual.
b. Concepts notes
I really loved taking notes back then but sometimes I do my notes when I was in our home because what my teacher says is also in the book we used. Now I should always take note because sometimes there are teachers who says something that is not in the book but those are important words that can also help.
c. Presentation of visual aids
When I was in grade school our usually use manila paper and pentelpen to make visual aids. We also use it when we have reporting to do. But now teachers usually use their laptop and television to present their works, we also use those when we are going to report and take notes.
d. Class record
During grade school our teacher always carry their class records. Their class records is a book style with columns. However, during senior high school teacher didn't bring those book like class records because they carry their laptops.
e. Class dismissal
During grade school before we go home we always sing the national anthem and the hymns (MIMAROPA hymn,Naujan hymn,and so on), and in Senior High School we just sing the national anthem before we go home once a week. Also before we go home we are going to form a line in the school ground/ stage.
f. Assignment and research
When I was in grade school our assignment usually written in the book and the answer was also can be find there. We do research with the use of textbooks and other written texts. And in Senior High School our assignments sometimes written on the laptops of the teacher and can be viewed on the televisions. And research usually use gadgets and internet.
